Johnny has been playing drums since he was a young boy as far back as he can remember he says, having a passion and love for percussion and drums it shows in his masterful playing. Johnny has played and been in many diffrent groups through out his life,playing with such groups as his local Home Town Boys The Country Four when he was 13 years old,and 2+2 who was headed by Rudy Fontes who is The Guitar Player in GRM, had also played with Steve Lopez and The Sabor Latino Band,Amistad,The Latin Illusions, Groupo Sonora,The Silver Creek Band,The Remingtons out of Idaho,Jerry Jaramillo and The Brown River Band, and more,open for such acts as Moe Bandy,The late Eddie Rabbit,Exil while with Jaramillo, The Mccarter Sisters. And is also curently playing with the South 40 Revised as well.
